Barbara Gabogrecan
The Expert in Dog Behavior Training
For over 30 years I have bred,
exhibited, judged and trained dogs in Australia. The name 'Barbara Gabogrecan' is synonomous with dog judging
and dog behavior training. I have been around dogs all my life. Initially the dogs I grew up with were
working farm dogs, mainly cross bred Border Collies and Kelpies. As a child, it always amazed me how Dad could
get these dogs to muster sheep and cattle simply with a series of whistles! I have learnt a lot over the
years.
I have shown Dalmatians, Maltese, a Miniature Schnauzer, a Boxer, Australian
Terriers, an Akita and have bred over 60 litters. I am now training a young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for TV
work using the clicker method of dog training. The name 'Barbara Gabogrecan', will now also be known for the
clicker method of dog training.
That doesn’t mean that I have not made many silly mistakes over the years with dog
behavior training. I once had a Dalmatian with dog behavior problems. She dug holes in the yard big
enough for her to get into. I had read that if you filled the hole with water and held the dogs head under
for a few seconds, it would scare the dog and it would stop digging. I was so desperate to learn how to stop
my dog from digging that I foolishly decided to try this bad piece of advice. I filled the hole with water
and tried to put my dogs head into the water.
Well, the dog was not going to have anything to do with that (sensible girl!). We
began to wrestle. The harder I tried to get her head down, the harder she struggled; it turned out she was stronger
than me! In the end, I was in the hole full of water! We were both exhausted and covered with mud when I gave up
and sat there laughing with my Dalmatian beside me, tongue out, a big grin on her face and a madly
wagging tail. She thought it was a great new game!
Eventually I stopped her from digging by filling the hole with earth,
spreading some seed on it and then covering each hole she dug with a heavy wire mesh. It allowed the sun and
rain through and the grass soon grew back, as she did not like to dig over the mesh. I realised that dog
behavior training is like a tea bag; you never know your own strength until you are in hot water (in my
case, muddy water!). The name 'Barbara Gabogrecan' could have become known for some
really foolish actions - but luckily, I learned from my mistakes and became an expert in dog behavior
problems.

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GET RESULTS WHEN TRAINING YOUR DOG WITH THIS ONLINE DOG
TRAINING COURSE?
Regardless of the age of your dog, this course will enable you to get good
results. The old saying ‘you can’t teach a dog new tricks’ is wrong! You can teach any animals anything you
want. You will be introduced to the clicker as a very helpful tool. It is used when training exotic animals
e.g. polar bears and dolphins, and works very well on intelligent animals like dogs. Barbara Gabogrecan
will personally assist you.
This course is designed to train you, not your dog. You train your dog. When
you can’t get the results you want, ask for help in a special online Forum provided, and/or simply send a video
clip with the video camera you have been provided with, and Barbara Gabogrecan will view it and
give you some ideas as to how to improve your approach.
Once you have reached the level of training you want, you keep the video
camera for your own use.
The course lasts for 12 weeks. If you still want help after that time, you
can continue to pay a small monthly fee so that experts (including Barbara Gabogrecan) can carry on supporting
you.
So, just how good is this online dog training course? Watch the young
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Cooper (trained by Barbara Gabogrecan), perform some of the skills he
learned by Barbara Gabogrecan using the processes taught in this Ecademy. Cooper mastered all of
these tricks in 12 weeks - your dog can too!
